Wilson Memorial Hospital welcomes Dr. Noufal Jajeh, M.D., M.S., board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, to its medical staff. Dr. Jajeh has joined the practice of Dr. Abdulla Taja and Gastroenterology of West Central Ohio, Inc.
Dr. Jajeh brings more than 23 years of experience to the practice and enjoys helping patients improve and achieve a better quality of life. Dr. Jajeh specializes in comprehensive treatment of the digestive system.
Prior to joining Gastroenterology of West Central Ohio, Inc., Dr. Jajeh spent several years in Damascus, Syria working at the Damascus University and Assad University Hospital. Prior to working and living in Syria, he worked as a full-time gastroenterologist at Mercy Specialist Clinic, in Iowa City. Dr. Jajeh completed a gastroenterology residency at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City and was chief resident in gastroenterology at Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Jajeh graduated first in class from Damascus University Medical School, in Damascus, Syria. He also went on to receive a master degree in Preventative Medicine from the University of Iowa. Dr. Jajeh completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to working at the medical practice, Dr. Jajeh enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as reading and following most all sports.
