In honor of the opening of the Botkins Family Practice, an open house will be held on Wednesday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for the community to meet Dr. Teresa Trygstad and her staff. The new Botkins Family Practice opens in association with Wilson Memorial Hospital and Wilson Care, Inc., and is located at 111 E. Lynn Street, in Botkins.
Dr. Trygstad has been practicing medicine for over 19 years with a specialization in family medicine. Dr. Trygstad will be able to provide continuing and comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages. She also offers Natural Family Planning (NFP) counseling as part of her medical service.
Dr. Trygstad is currently accepting new patients and is servicing patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Dr. Trygstad earned her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by residency and internship training through Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association as well as the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She is married to Dr. Michael Trygstad, a Wilson Care, Inc., physician with a practice located in Jackson Center.
