Cindy Trent, certified nurse practitioner (CNP), has joined Wilson Care Ob/Gyn and the practice of Dr. Valerie Schulte, Dr. Courtney Slonkosky, Dr. Cecilia Banga, Dr. Julie Ressler, Dr. Kristi Pedler and Lisa Pleiman, CNP. Trent works collaboratively with the doctors and staff seeing and treating patients in the medical office.
Specializing in women’s health, Trent is an experienced nurse practitioner who has completed advanced academic education beyond her basic RN training. With this advanced training, she can assume some of the diagnostic and treatment responsibilities traditionally reserved only for physicians.
Trent received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ursuline College. After several years obtaining experience as a registered nurse, Trent completed her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from University of Cincinnati in 2008 and began work as a Nurse Practitioner.
Trent has a wealth of experience as a CNP in the healthcare field of women’s health. Prior to joining the Wilson Care Ob/Gyn practice, she worked as a CNP for Women’s Health for Life, Inc. in Lima, Ohio. She also worked at Wilson Memorial Hospital, from 2000-2007, as a staff nurse specialist and educator, childbirth education coordinator, and staff RN in Labor and Delivery.
