Wilson Memorial is expanding their lactation services by offering a place where breastfeeding mothers can seek advice and receive assistance from certified lactation consultants. An open house for the new Sweet Beginnings Lactation Boutique will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital, in the Family Birth Center.
All are welcome to visit the boutique, meet the staff and see all that the Family Birth Center has to offer. Breastfeeding supplies, such as breast pumps, nursing stools, nursing bras, and much more will be available for purchase from the boutique. Cecilia Banga, D.O., who will be joining the Wilson Care, Inc OB/GYN team in August, will be available for a meet and greet. There will also be an opportunity for those in attendance to win prizes, such as a Medela Pump In Style Breast Pump, Childbirth Education Weekend Package, and a child photography session and level 1 package from Picture Perfect Photos and Design.
