Roger McKinstry was recently named director of Pharmacy Services at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
McKinstry brings with him 33 years of extensive pharmacy experience both in a hospital and retail setting. He is experienced in personnel management, marketing and regulatory compliance. Most recently, he was director of Pharmacy Services at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton, Ohio, a 25 bed critical access facility. McKinstry managed a diverse line of support services for their pharmacy department as well as provided supervision over the hospital’s medication safety program. He also served as a preceptor for sixth year pharmacy students from Ohio Northern University and the University of Findlay.
McKinstry holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Oh.
He resides in Arlington, Oh., with his wife, Lesley, director of Library Services at North Baltimore Public Library. They have two sons, Mark, who works in IT for Chiquita in Cincinnati, and Greg, a chef for Mitchell’s Seafood Market in Jacksonville, Fl.
