Construction Underway for New Professional Building Expansion

Construction is well underway for the new medical office buildling which will attach to the existing Professional Building on the Wilson Memorial Hospital campus. Completion is anticipated for spring 2016.

"We expect to maintain patient access to both hospital departments and physician offices throughout the project," says Craig Lannoye, VP of Operations. "Parking will be disrupted during the entire construction period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

The 48,000-square-foot medical building is expected to open in spring of 2016 and will be the new home to seven Wilson Care medical practices. Wilson Care is a multi-specialty physician group consisting of over 30 providers with offices located throughout Shelby County. The Wilson Care practices in Sidney specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, ENT and endocrinology and are located both on and off campus in independent offices. The strategy behind the new building will focus on a team-based healthcare delivery model to allow for better access to healthcare, increased patient satisfaction and ultimately improved health outcomes.
